TEXTBOOK 2021 Napa Valley Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Bottle Shot

Vintage: 2021

Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon

AVA: Napa Valley

  • Through collaboration with our high-caliber grower partners, the final blend is composed of fruit sourced from sub-appellations throughout Napa Valley to create layers of complexity and evocative flavors.

  • Each small-lot was vinified and aged separately in 100% French Oak for 15 months and tasted throughout the year.

  • Hand-crafted with select lots from Oakville district, then balanced the blend with Yountville, Oak Knoll and Calistoga.

  • This Reserve Cabernet's power pairs exquisitely with rich dishes such as grilled lamb chops or tender roasted duck with Bing cherry sauce.

  • 94 POINTS
"Punchy tannins, interesting leather and tobacco complexity, and a core of black currants and black olives help this wine stand out from the pack. Just ripe without overdoing it, the black fruits are deep and complex but also fresh and savory. Best from 2025. "

2022 Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

The individual lots for this wine spent months aging separately in French Oak, before Winemaker Abigail Estrada hand-selected the final blend. The result is richness yet restraint — allowing this Cabernet to be paired with an array of cuisines or simply enjoyed on its own.

On the nose, there are lovely aromas of Satsuma plum, black cherry, and subtle graphite from Paso Robles’ mineral-rich soils. On the palate, you'll find flavors of ripe red cherry, mixed berry pie, and Tahitian vanilla. The finish is smooth with well-integrated tannins. It’s opulent, richly textured, and beautifully balanced.

  • Vines were carefully monitored and managed throughout the season to reduce the overall crop, ensuring concentration in the fruit when harvested.

  • Grape clusters were field-sorted, hand-harvested, and hand-sorted at the winery. Fruit was de-stemmed and cold-soaked for two days.
