Textbook Chardonnay 2021

Vintage: 2021

Varietal: Chardonnay

AVA: Napa Valley

  • Luscious fruit flavors of baked pear and apple, creme brulee, and honeysuckle are complemented by pie cruist and baking spice. Subtle creaminess, and just the right amount of acidity integrate in one shimmering wine.

  • Perfectly pairs with butter-dipped lobster, creamy pastas, poached fish, and fresh salads.

  • Sourced from Oak Knoll District of Napa Valley, the AVA experiences more cold nights, cool mornings, and milder days than the rest of the valley. Which allows picking at the perfect balance of flavor and acidity.

Our Vision

We choose small-lots of fruit from our grower partners in the southern end of the valley. Why? The cooling breezes from the San Pablo Bay lead to bright natural acidity and lifted citrus notes.

100% barrel fermenting in new French Oak produces toasty aromas and mid-palate roundness without overpowering the fruit flavors. And elongated malolactic fermentation with attention to the diacetyl levels results in a rich, creamy finish while still allowing the acidity to shine through.
